Class Coordinator: Coordinate classroom volunteers, organize year-end teacher gift, pass on information from the PTA to parents, and assist the teacher with whatever he/she needs help with.
Assemblies: Identify, invite and coordinate a variety of outside speakers, performance artists, etc. for in-school presentations, workshops and assemblies.
Art Enrichment: Bring an art curriculum and/or school-wide projects to kids.
Buzz Book (Student Directory): Organize and publish the student directory in Microsoft Publisher.
Jog-a-thon: Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Set up or take down equipment, punch students’ cards for each lap completed, or run with your kids and cheer them on.
Back-to-School Fair: Staff games, rides, and food booths, sell tickets, set up, or clean up at this fun, family-friendly community celebration.
Walk/Bike-to-School Days: Work at the arrival table & promote healthy lifestyle.
Movie Nights: Put together movie nights for families.
Family Nights Out: Organize free family-friendly evening events—LEGO building, chalk mural, dances, picnics, or building projects, etc.
Photography: Take pictures at a wide variety of school functions for yearbook/slideshow.
Enrichment Programs: Research, schedule, contract and coordinate after-school programs.
Picture Day: Assist students and teachers on individual and class picture days.
Bake and Craft Fair: Help set up and take down students’ booths and run cashier station.
Hearing / Vision Screenings: Help with annual hearing/vision checks—training provided!
School Garden: Assist with garden classes, cafeteria composting, Harvest of the Month, classroom cooking, and/or garden care.
Bedtime for Books: Under the direction of the school’s reading specialist, promote, set up, clean up, or donate food.
Enrichment Drama and Choir Performances: Promote and support the evening Enrichment choir and drama performances.
Lowell Book Publishing Program: type up student manuscripts and bind books.
Students for Salmon: Help implement Salmon Enhancement Association hands-on environmental science curriculum.
Loving Labs: Work with school counselor and others to help address needs of struggling families.
Scholastic Book Fair: Set up and take down book displays, help students find books and work cashier shifts.
Science Fair: Organize display space and ask students about their science project.
Dinner Theatre / Talent Show: Assist in the tryouts, rehearsal, and night of performance. Organize food delivery, buy supplies, and create playbill.
Art Show: Frame student artwork, create an art scavenger hunt, organize 5th graders living art displays.
Earth Day Work Day: Work to beautify the school grounds.
Children’s Art Walk: Help prep and install kids’ art for display in local businesses.
Ski to Sea Jr Parade: Promote, organize theme, lead students, and create poster for parade.
Round Up: Oversee games and activities, decorate, set up dance floor, and clean up at this western-themed family celebration.
Field Day: Promote school spirit and celebrate the end of the year, organize races, relays, and sporting competitions and games for the entire school.
Fundraising: Brainstorm and investigate ways to raise money for Lowell.
